Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains how Kit & Cub Creative (ABN 48 251 750 492) ("Kit & Cub", "we", "us") handles information collected through kitandcub.co and through Kit & Cub Marketing Tools, our internal tool for managing our clients' Google marketing accounts. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Kit & Cub Marketing Tools and Google user data
Kit & Cub Marketing Tools is an internal application used only by Kit & Cub staff to report on and manage the Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts of clients who have engaged us and given us access to those accounts. It is not offered to the public.
What the application accesses
When a Kit & Cub staff member signs in with Google, the application requests access to:
- Google Ads (
adwordsscope): account, campaign, ad, keyword, asset and performance data, and the ability to create and change campaigns, ads, budgets and assets in accounts we manage. - Google Analytics (
analytics.readonlyscope): read-only access to the list of properties and to aggregated website traffic and conversion reports. - Google Search Console (
webmasters.readonlyscope): read-only access to the list of sites, search performance reports, sitemap status and URL indexing status.
How we use it
We use this data only to provide marketing services to the client who owns each account:
- reporting on advertising, website and search performance;
- researching, building and optimising Google Ads campaigns for that client;
- diagnosing website indexing and search visibility issues.
Changes that spend money, such as launching a campaign or raising a budget, are made only on the instruction of a Kit & Cub staff member acting under our agreement with the client.
Storage and security
- The OAuth sign-in token is stored only on the Kit & Cub staff member's own computer, in a file readable only by that user account. It is not stored on any server.
- Data retrieved from Google APIs is processed on demand and is not copied into a database. Reports we prepare from it are shared only with the client the data belongs to.
- To analyse data and draft campaign content, the application passes the data to an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude), acting as our service provider. It processes the data only to answer our requests, under terms that do not permit using it to train its models.
Sharing
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with anyone other than the client it belongs to and the service provider described above, except where required by law.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Kit & Cub Marketing Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from your Google Account atmyaccount.google.com/permissions. Clients can also remove our access from their Google Ads, Analytics or Search Console accounts at any time. When an engagement ends we stop accessing the client's accounts and delete any locally held exports on request.
